Orkney Snow 2006
The snow just keeps improving! Had a deep drift walk this morning (Sunday 5th March) and had to take more photos. Click for a bigger and better image. |

Saturday
evening not much fesh snow fell, but it was drifting. Our back
garden. |
The
track from Rendall Doocot to the main road was dug out yesterday.

One
of our coastal neighbours had her dogs out - great fun as they
bounded through the drifts and chased the occasional rat. |
We
joined with other neighbours for the first part of our walk. It
was a very sociable time - everyone seemed to be out. |
